How does the dismiss button work? (Pro)

Shoppers can hide the bar in their browser for a duration you configure (default 24 hours).

The dismiss (✕) button is a Pro feature.
  • When enabled in Pro settings, shoppers see a close button on the announcement bar.
  • After a shopper dismisses the bar, it stays hidden in that browser only for the configured duration (default 24 hours, configurable from 2 hours to 7 days).
  • The hide state is stored in the browser; other visitors are unaffected.
If the bar disappeared after you tested dismiss, open the storefront in a private or incognito window to see it again.
